Filippo Manassero was born in Turin - Italy on April 23, 1969, and has worked in the field of art since 1988. From 2014 promotes and operates successfully in Italy workshop Sumi-e painting traditional Japanese ink, also known as Zen painting.   In 1992 he created the company ART DECO S.n.c. - Artistic Decorations, Trompe l'oeils and Restorations, of which to date he is an associate. This activity brought him to experiencing interior decorations through trompe l'oeil's techniques, purposely tailored from time to time to specific environments and to their usages. This also brought him to be confronted with the techniques of the past through the restoration of decorations and canvases.   The constant collaboration with architects and interior designers, has allowed him to be continuously confronted, to multiple matters related to the creation of interior spaces and the use of colours. After nearly twenty years of activity, he decided to start a more personal course: from which comes the idea of 'Ritagli' (Cuttings), a search in the technique of art copy, which has the objective of creating suggestions which value the environments.   In 1999, led by the work of CSEA - training and employment services - the teaching courses 'Decoration mural art - trompe l'oeil', sponsored by the City of Turin and the Piedmont Region. In 2000/2001 always CSEA led teaching courses 'Technique of the fresco', also sponsored by the City and Region.   In 2012 he started making new works, and in March 2013 he rose to fame drawing attention to Turin with his work 'Piero's Scream'. At the end of 2013 presents the work The Immaculate Niece.   He participates as a teacher in several residential workshops on decoration and trompe l'oeil. Offers his expertise for individual and group lessons for all who wish to approach the world of decoration, aspiring to learn techniques already acquired or discover new ones.   From 2014 promotes and operates successfully in Italy workshop Sumi-e painting traditional Japanese ink, also known as Zen painting. September 2016 he won the competition 1st Hmay Art Supply Painting Competition with the work sumi-e Ibis October 2016 creates a work of Sumi-e, an ENSO, for the permanent of the first museum in the world dedicated to the Sign inaugurated at the Turin plant of Stilo Aurora.
